Exide Express is the leading distributor of lead acid batteries under the brands Exide for the automotive and solar market. Exide batteries are manufactured by Chloride Zimbabwe. SCRAP COLLECTION
Exide Express collects used scrap batteries in line with EMA regulations. Used batteries are also collected through other selected distributors and commercial officers throughout the country. Scrap batteries are collected to manage the disposal of sulfuric acid, which is hazardous to the environment. All scrap batteries are sent to Chloride Zimbabwe, as the company recycles the batteries to get lead, which is a major raw material in the battery manufacturing sector.
