The Art Regional core business is sales and distribution with major markets in Zambia, Malawi and South Africa. The division operating units with the business model being wholesale/retail combination, which enjoys significant market share in Zambia and Malawi and a growing share in South Africa
Regional Stationery Established in March 2006, the division comprises two distribution outlets in Zambia and Malawi. The original aim was to utilize excess capacity which the Zimbabwe market could not take. The key product lines are writing instruments and paper based stationery items.
Regional Batteries Chloride Central Africa (CCA) is a well-integrated business anchored in its Battery Manufacturing base in Zimbabwe and an extensive distribution network that spans the region. CCA is thus made up of the manufacturing division Chloride Zimbabwe, and the distribution division, Battery Express. The distribution division is comprised of Battery Express Zimbabwe, Battery Express Malawi, Battery Express Zambia and DC Powerpax in South Africa.
Product Profile Art Regional’s product profile comprises batteries, pens, paper stationery and Tissue paper. The region champions Art’s major brands which are Exide (except in RSA), Eversharp, Croxley, as well as Battery Express and Fleximail as trading brands.
